Valerie Franchi

Valerie has a Baccalaureate Degree in English and French from the College of the Holy Cross. Valerie spent more than a decade travelling through the Middle East (Abu Dhabi, Tunisia, Cairo, Bahrain and Jerusalem) as a reporter and editor for English language publications. Valerie’s experience as a former reporter and editor has strengthened her attention to detail skills and her ability to connect with our clients from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures.

After moving back to the United States permanently in 2005, Valerie worked for the Telegram and Gazette as well as the Community Advocate Newspaper as a writer and copy editor before making the change to family law. Valerie has worked as a family law paralegal since 2017 after she earned her paralegal certificate from Assumption College.

When clients contact our office, they are often overwhelmed and anxious about the legal process. Valerie acts as a liaison between the clients and attorneys, providing them with general information and assistance in a compassionate and professional manner. One of Valerie’s main responsibilities is assisting clients in the preparation of complicated financial disclosures required by the courts. Valerie’s patience with clients in helping them understand this process is an asset to our office and to our clients.

Valerie lives in Worcester with her fiancé Kit and her three sons. Valerie enjoys trivia, football, binge-watching television shows, puzzles, ’80s music and drinking wine by the lake in Maine.
